Such wood as dreams are made on The Théâtre du Jorat holds a special place in the cultural landscape of Switzerland: it features an outstanding wooden construction from 1908 and 1000 seats, which makes it one of the biggest theatres in the country.
Surprisingly, it is situated in the countryside, above Lake Geneva, in a little village with just 1200 inhabitants. Since its opening, the recipe of its founder René Morax, a renowned poet and stage director, is applied: popular theatre for young and old visitors from all walks of life.
